Success in Brinny (12th - 13th of August)
There was great support and turnout for our Funfly event over the weekend. We may even have some new members 😀
It was decided to extend the event into Sunday, which turned out to be a great idea, as it gave people a better chance to make it.
Flying began early (10am) each day, followed by a BBQ, and refreshments, then resumed right up to 5pm each evening. See you all again soon!
Brinny Glide In (1st & 2nd July)
Despite the windier conditions, we had great success in attracting visitors and participants, the length and breadth of the country. Thanks so much to Ralph (the event organizer), a member of Cork Model Aero Club, and of the, "Island Slope Rebels", for organizing the event.
Munster Aerobatic Championships (18th June from 10am - 5pm)
We had a great day of action from our F3A Tier 1 and F3A Tier 2 pilots. It was, "touch and go" if the event would go ahead, because it rained much of the morning.....and then, the rain stopped and the sun came out. Thanks to the participants, both pilots and organizers.
Model Display at Hiberian Hotel - Mallow (April 29th 2023)
The club enthusiastically took part in the OCANA Festival - Mallow this year. We put on a fantastic display of various model aircraft such as fixed wing planes and quadcopters. Kids and adults alike had great fun on the flight simulators we had running. Thanks to all contributors, that allowed us to participate.
Camden Fort Exhibition (August 28th 2022)
Our club partook in the Camden Fort Meagher Garrison Model Show. We put on a good static display of all sorts of model aircraft - such as scale, and aerobatic planes. Thanks to all contributors, that allowed us to participate.
