Joining
Before joining, you will need to sign up to My SRS - IAA online and obtain an A1/A3 Open Certificate. If you are under (16), a parent or guardian can register as a drone operator on your behalf. Information on this can be found under the admin section on the MACI website, and also on the IAA website. See the, "Links" section, at the end of the page.

COMPLETING THE PROCESS
We can help you with this, but in short, once you have obtained an A1/A3 Open Certificate, you can sign up with the Model Aeronautics Council of Ireland, and join the club. Membership of the MACI will provide insurance for you to fly at affiliated clubs.
